#CAKEBAKEANDSWEETSSHOW

I'm just coming down from my sugar rush from the Cake, Bake and Sweets Show at Sydney Olympic Park. 

So lets start with the beginning of my day.  I woke up and it was too cold too leave my bed but the day might go on. After I woke up and did my morning routine. I was ready to leave the house and run errands. By the time I had finish my errands it was time meet up with my friends for loads of sugar, sugar and more sugar.
When we got inside the first person we saw was Duff Golden. He was leaving the building. At first i thought I was seeing things and I wasn't sure if it was him or no but one of his fans confirmed it was him when they took a photo with him and everyone else crowded towards him wanting to take a photo as well (including me) but sadly he only took one photo because he had to leave. For those who don't know who duff golden is, he is a pastry chef from the states who has his own TV show called Ace of cakes and has been on Iron Chef America. 

So after that we keep walking and there we saw a load of people with bags and bags of goodies - that's when i got really excited,  was like a kid in a candy store. Each stand was different but every similar in away, like they all sold piping bags,cookie cutter,royal icing powder, baking tins,food colouring,cake turn tables and there was heaps and heaps of displays of cakes.

And there were heaps more beautiful displays. These display got me even move excited to make my cousin, Amy's, wedding cake, I've got so many idea going though my head.

Okay,back to the show. We keep walking down towards one of the stages and there they were, the owner of Pick Your Poison Bake Shop in  Las Vegas Taryn Mumpower and Robyn Holt. they were really nice and I got to take a photo with them.

Then i met kirsten Timbals. She is a pastry chef from Melbourne and has been on Master Chef Australia a few times before. I've seen her work on instragram before and i just had to buy her book and it was a bonus because she signed it for me.

Last but not the least, I met Anna Polyviou. She is an award winning dessert chef and is Shangri-La hotel Sydney's Executive Pastry Chef. I've be following her  on instragram, her desserts are crazy good and got hungry for dessert. Oh and her instrgram is @annapolyviou. Follow her.

All in all I Bought a few things like a turn table for $42,  red food colouring for $5, piping nozzles i think it was called #2D drop flower $5 and Chocolate to Savour" by Kirsten Tibballs $99.

By 4:30 all the stands are packing down and everyone start going home with sore feet and stomachs.I know I did but all in a good way.
